Mam and me making her world-famous recipe. We made this film after I’d mentioned “Sassermaet Clatch” a few times on a BBC Radio Shetland show I co-hosted. My fellow hosts’ had never heard of it (which is no wonder as ‘The Clatch’ had never been made anywhere apart from mam’s hoose) so their interests were piqued and we headed along mam to make this film.
